Fantasy Football League Rules: (updated 2013):

 The short version:

All teams must try to win. No cheating. Anyone can protest a trade ruling. A protest is then sent to a three man committee who can override the commissioner with a unanimous vote. Every team gets 12 trades and 12 acquisitions. No acquisitions in playoffs. No trades after trade deadline. No trading of draft picks. Only 2 acquisitions can be made in a given week. Players will fall under waiver rules. Players go on waivers on their individual game days or if they are dropped. They remain on waivers for 2 days during which time you can put in a claim. At the end of the waiver period the claimant with the highest priority gets the player.

League Rules:

Fair Play & Sportsmanship:

All coaches are assumed to have taken the oath of honorable competition. This encompasses all the obvious facets of fair play.

1. All league-related transactions will be executed with the intent of improving the owner's team and/or it’s standing within the league.

2. No owner may drop or "dump" players from their team for any reason other than improving their own team and/or it’s standing within the league.

3. No owner will engage in any action that may be deemed to be collusive (two or more owners agreeing to make moves that benefit one team, but not the other).

4. No owner will make any roster moves (including waiver claims, trade proposals, etc.) whose sole purpose is to hamper the play of other owners.

5. No owner will take any action whose purpose is to, in any way, interfere with fair play in a league.

6. It is not acceptable to give another team a superior player via trade or drop for the purposes of strengthening that team so they can defeat another team.

Administration: (The Commissioner & The Sub-Committee)

For the most part the commissioner administrates everything. A subcommittee of 3 coaches will be selected on draft day. This committee will serve as a balance of power for the commissioner. All Commissioner decisions concerning Trades can be contested by any member of the league. Any reasonable contestation will prompt the Commissioner to call upon the sub-committee. This then revives the matter for review within the sub-committee. Only a unanimous committee vote can veto the commissioner. If a subcommittee member is either a party or the contester to a situation he is temporarily abstained from the committee to be replaced by a temporary appointee to the committee. In decisions of great importance the commissioner may solicit a league wide vote. Any contestations must be accompanied by an explanation of grounds.

How a Review Works:

 1) Commish allows/denies trade

 2) One or more coaches sends an official protest with grounds illustrated

 3) Challenged parties send supportive notes, as does Commissioner

 4) All this info goes to the committee for review

 5) Committee votes and shows findings. If Unanimous, decision is overturned

 6) Contester and Challenged parties are informed of decision and supplied with the committee’s individual findings. The findings will not bear the Sub-committee’s individual identities. That is there will be 3 separate explanations but you won’t know who said what.

7) Rest of league is made aware of reversed decision
